These hanging bridges were originally made for the locals to easily transport goods from one valley to the other. Although this site was not intended for tourists, the experience of crossing this hanging parallel bridges is fun-thrilling and adrenaline-rush seeking since it is literally pinned from end to end hence any small movement would shake the bridge. We opt to skip crossing though because it’s drizzling, very slippery and we had a kid in tow.
Crossing the bridge for locals is free but tourists pay a small amount for its maintenance.
You get to enjoy the view of the river, step foot on the other side of Sevilla town, Ilawod while helping the locals, win-win!
