Last Sunday, McCormick Friends and Flavor Club co-presented by F&B Report held a day of good food, music and moments open for public at the BGC Amphitheater that lasted until twilight.

Celebrity Chefs and their McCormick Dishes

The first 500 people on the event got to sample the featured McCormick flavored dishes from celebrity chefs – Chef Mikel Zaguirre of Locavore, Privatus’ Chef AJ Reyes, Tipple and Slaw’s Chef Francis Lim and Black Sheep’s Patrick Go.

Privatus’ Chef Aj Reyes taught the audience how to make a home-cooked Cajun Shrimp and Corn using McCormick Grill Mates Cajun Marinade Mix and McCormick Curry Extension.

Using McCormick Taco Seasoning Mix, Black Sheep’s Chef Patrick Go showed how to make this Sloppy Joe Bao.

The event was also graced by high-end concessionaires offering a taste of what they serve in their respective restaurants while showcasing their secrets – McCormick Seasonings.

The Belly Good Roastbeef – served fresh smoked ribs and angus roast beef for only Php 200.00 with a side dish of your choice – baby potatoes, mashed potatoes, kimchi rice, plain rice.

Ozawa Noritako Rice Bowl –  Japanese fusion dishes like Beef Tenderloin steak Noritako, Pork Tonkatsu Noritako, Chicken Karagae Noritako and Pork Teriyaki Noritako for Php135.00 and up.

Other concessionaires includes Stephen’s Brick Oven Pizza, Saffron Plates, Kalye Taco, Down to Earth, Thirsty Turtle, John Lemon, Buccino Ice Cream, Ice Pops MNL and Standford Shaw.

This was also the perfect place to buy our McCormick staples – Basil leaves and Garlic Powder, Taco Seasoning and Curry Powder on our list.

Tandems ’91 and Jensen and the Flips also performed live. The event was hosted by none other than Radio Broadcaster, TV and Events host, Ms. Tracy Abad and Mr. Mark Andrew Suntay.

 

The best part of it all, a portion of the proceeds for this event went to Feed the Children.
